Welcome to Te Kura Tuarua ō Raahui Pookeka | Huntly College

We are a co-educational decile 1 secondary school located in Huntly on the western banks of the Waikato River. Providing a broad curriculum and serving the needs of local students Year 9 to 15. Our roll is approximately 75% Maaori of whom most are of Waikato-Tainui descent. Officially opened in 1953, Huntly College has a long and proud history boasting many significant successes academically, culturally and sporting.

Recent developments include offering senior student alternative pathways for success including a Services Academy and Gateway.

Vocational pathways offered include: Trades and Hospitality academies,

The Uniform is changing at Huntly College for all students.  All enrolled students will

receive ONE FREE Smart Polo Shirt from Les Kosoofs & Sons, Main St, Huntly available

from the 16 January 2019.  Kosoofs will have a list of names of those enrolled. 

Students may wear Navy or Black Trousers, Shorts or Skirts.
