- Communication, calculation and computer skills; Research skills; Information gathering and processing.
How will I learn?
This is a two year programme that you can enter at year 12 and stay until year 13 or enter at year 13. There will be a selection of Level 2 and 3 unit standards. There will be an element of individual research and an opportunity to learn from guest speakers, people involved in the travel and tourism industry and field trips.
What should I already have done? (Pre-requisites)
Open entry. However, an interest in the travel and tourism industry is essential.
Where does this lead?
This course leads on to further study at tertiary institutes or directly into the workforce in this growing and exciting industry. They have a number of scholarships available for high achieving students.
